Prime Minister endorses Dandruff Week

This week is National Dandruff Awareness week and members of the public can show their support for dandruff sufferers by buying a lamington from volunteers who will be circulating in the CBD this Friday.

“You can choose either chocolate or strawberry lamingtons, both generously coated in white flaky material,” beamed organiser Pam Snow, “We think our lamingtons will be a big hit with everyone.”

Dandruff Week volunteers had their first customer yesterday when Prime Minister John Howard stopped by to sample a lamington.

“What could be more Australian than an old fashioned chocolate lamington,” Mr Howard told assembled reporters, “I have personally bought a dozen so that I can support this great cause.”

Mr Howard was then overheard asking advisers if he had been “set up”.
