Fin Review cans Mohammed ads

 

The Australian Financial Review has canned its recent advertising campaign featuring the prophet Mohammed.

 

 The posters, which depicted Mohammed on a yacht with two bikini-clad models, bore the slogan “You don’t have to be Mohammed to earn a prophet”.

 

We have decided that the poster was not the right fit for us at this particular juncture,” said a Fin Review publicity manager without further elaboration.

 

A new poster, featuring an Aborigine getting high returns from a boomerang, will be rushed out this weekend.
