In May I
self-published an ebook making fun of courts, judges, judgments and the legal
system in general.
The book centred
around a fictional court known as the Kangaroo Court of Australia.
As part of this
process, I originally intended to create a small companion website where
surfers could read parts of the book and essentially understand the concept
behind it.
On reflection,
however, it occurred to me that the Kangaroo Court deserved a more dignified
presence on the internet. It seemed only appropriate that the judges,
practitioners and court officials I had created should enjoy a webspace which
accorded with their own sense of self-importance. Thus, the website which you
are viewing was born.
Aside from pandering
to the sensibilities of imaginary folk, this site retains its practical
function. To find out more about the book, click here.
Update May
2006 – I think my vendor site has gone offline and my book is unavailable. It’s
hard to tell because I don’t sell many copies! Anyway, if you’d like a copy
email me and I’ll send one out.
